The Raydean Acevedo Colorado Ballet Academy serves over 1,200 students each year, from toddlers to seniors. Colorado Ballet's Education and Community Engagement programming engages with students, teachers, families, people with disabilities, and lifelong learners, making more than 70,000 contacts in 300 schools and organizations annually.
Position Overview
The Videographer and Photographer is responsible for shooting content to create most of Colorado Ballet's creative assets for use in marketing, brand awareness, audience engagement, and fundraising initiatives. This position will shoot, edit, and create finished videos and photos for social media, website, digital advertising campaigns, television broadcast, e-mails, donor communications, and other channels to promote Colorado Ballet performances, outreach activities, special events, and the Raydean Acevedo Colorado Ballet Academy's programs, classes, performances, and events. The position also supports the organization's Education and Community Engagement programs and Advancement team through the creation of visual assets that drive participation, awareness, and philanthropic support.
The Videographer and Photographer reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications and works collaboratively across departments, including Marketing and Communications, Advancement, Academy, Education and Community Engagement, and Artistic and Production teams. This full-time position supports Colorado Ballet's campaigns to increase visibility for the organization with a focus on patron retention, new audience development, fundraising, ticket sales, Academy enrollment, and community engagement. The position follows a hybrid work schedule while maintaining an on-site presence as required to capture rehearsals, performances, events, meetings, and other organizational activities.
